Swazi Gold is a renowned sativa landrace formed in the country formerly known as Swaziland, now officially Eswatini, adapted in the region since 13th century. This strain represents a rich heritage and a deep connection to the land and traditions of Southern Africa.

Swazi Gold originates from the mountainous regions of Eswatini, a landlocked country known for its diverse landscapes, ranging from lush valleys to rugged highlands. This strain has been cultivated for generations by local communities, playing a significant role in their cultural practices and traditions.

Unfortunately, this sturdy sativa was contaminated with many foreign genetics in current past, where many fields were crossbred with new-age hybrids and lost purity of its broad landrace genepool. Still few areas left in nowdays Eswatini, where old Swazi Gold and less potent Swazi High can be found with its unique characteristics.

These seeds we obtained from a farmer in feral area of Swaziland in early 2018. Unfortunatelly seeds were already kept in bad storage conditions, where after accesion we got germination rates around 60%. – Therefore we are adding double amount of beans into your order.
